Yeager - you're probably right. I doubt there's a place called "Heaven", and so when the two remaining Beatles snuff it, a reuinion is unlikely. :aok

You have to admit, it would be an instant classic. His most memorable quote.

So, now instead we have this one, where he swallows the hook, line, and sinker:

Here's my favorite Beet quote:

"I admit I was wrong."

Beet1e: "LOL - I never said that." :lol
[/b]

THAT is now my favorite Beet quote. His congentital inability to admit he was ever wrong, self-confessed.

It simply doesn't get any better.

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

Yes, and you would too. Wells is a fairly small town, but it has a Cathedral, which makes it a City by the English definition.

Wells Cathedral (not quite 1300 years old - sorry Grunherz)

No no no! I have the ability to be wrong, just as you have the ability to crash a plane. It's just that neither has ever happened yet. :)

Obviously, in your case, I'm talking about a real plane and not a virtual P47D30.

Well, there's my "runner up quote. Thanks, Beet.

You're like a guy struggling in quicksand. It'll be up to your nose shortly. ;)

It wouldn't happen.  As he will tell you himself, he's never wrong.  ;)  The truth is behind the smoke and mirrors.  :)

I'm a Bohemian artist.:D   I have the time to spend 5 months etching plates.

It's one of my etchings that I've been working on during the last 2 years.  That was the first one I completed.  Never thought I could do it.  Hadn't done an etching in 13 years.  I was worried.:)  Am doing a series of four!!!  Figure about three years to complete the job.

But I've been a professional artist for 25 years.  It ain't easy.
