BUsh* approval ratings at 42% - if this rating drops into the 30's Id expect to see a landslide with coat tail effect in the Congress.  Disapproval is at 58%! wow.  no fence sitters on this one

In the match up between Bush* and Kerry, Kerry is up by 5 with or without the Nader effect.

Good numbers for the left, but it is a long way to November.  However I think IMO that Bush* has passed the point of no return with the electorate and support will be hard to come by for him.

Ironically, one of the pillars of the Bush* self-destruction has been the admin's successful spin campaign to link Iraq to terrorism (for you Fox news viewers - the pResident has already stated that there was no link with Iraq and 9-11)
Now that Iraq is going poorly and the majority feel it was not worth it, Bush*s favorable ratings for handling the war on terror has fallen too.

The more that comes out against rumsfeld the farther his ratings fall. Bad move by sticking with him, especially now that it is comming out that he gave the order to "do what you need to do" when it came to getting information out of prisoners.
