NOTE:  This beta version requires DirectX 9.  If you are using an older version of
DirectX, you will need to upgrade.  Go to http://www.microsoft.com/directx to update.


This version will cause you to see strange artifacts and polys on initial texture loads.  
This is to assist us in debugging some stuttering that has been reported in the beta.  There's
no need to report the graphic anomolies on the texture load, everybody will get that.  What
we would like to know is if this decreases or alleviates the stuttering problems that have
been present for the past couple versions.

Artificial horizons now display correctly when you are upside down.

Fixed a bug that kept vehicles from displaying properly when viewed at a distance using zoom.

Distant plane dots are no longer white.

Plane dots and icons are now subject to distance fogging.

Rato smoke wasn't expanding correctly.

D3A1 now displays in the hangar with its landing gear.

Manned ship gun emplacements are now destroyed along with the ship.

Fixed a bug that caused troops to get commit suicide by drowning at some ports.

Smoke from buildings no longer shows through the terrain.

Fixed a CTD bug that occurred after hitting the quit button.

Stall limiter now works.

Changed the lighting on all terrain and water to make it lighter.

109F-4, G-2, and G-6 now sit on their tailwheel correctly.

Changed the order that Ta 152 fuel tanks are filled.

Fixed a bug on the D3A that caused props strikes on the ground.

Updated fuel consumption model on Mosquito, Lancaster, Tempest, and Typhoon.

Fixed a bug that caused a white polygon to display on the CV when you were far away from it.

Tiger tank now has matching hi-res tracks.

Medium and large fields now have O'clubs.

Moved chalkboards in the towers for easier viewing.  

Fixed some sorting issues with decals on the B26.

Bullets should now disappear when the corresponding component it is attached to is shot off.

Yak, P47, and Ta 152 wheel covers sort correctly now.

202 and 205 clock needs are now centered.

Fixed the auto and beacon light in the N1K2.

The rato parachutes no longer disappear at long distance.

Fixed the flap sorting problem on the FM2 and F4F.

Fixed the altimeter needle on the F4F4.

Tailwheel on the F4F no longer disappears.

Fixed a sorting problem on the fuselage window of the F4F.

Cockpit on the P38 no longer shows through the plane.

190A-5 and A8 elevators disappear when destroyed.

Changed the shading on the markings of B-17.

Fixed a problem on the 190D-9's instrument panel that caused sorting errors.
