could a Republican get away with this?

We know what happened to Tren Lott. it was as if he had been a member of KKK.

Oh wait that’s Sen. Byrd.

then there was Chris Dodd Sen Ct. praising Byrd, saying he "would have been good at any time in the countries history. Including the civil war,,.."
O really Dodd you me the war fought over slavery, the same Byrd who was a member of the KKK.

And now this  Hollings accusing the president of fighting the war to appease the Jews.http://www.wistv.com/global/story.asp?s=1878931&ClientType=Printable

and some of you think there is no bias...ha:lol

There's no liberal media, it's simply redikuloscus.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

This is Hollings' last term and it seems that he is making his last few months a lesson in servitude to the far left members of the DNC. He has had several editorial articles in the local paper in the last couple of months, all of them spouting the party line propaganda that he has avoided for most of his tenure.

I think it would be safe to just ignore anything he says for the next 6 months.

That's too bad. I used to really respect Hollings.
