Big improvement with 35! With vid preferances
set for optimum speed I now usually get:
On deck of CV: 12 fps.
Airborne over water: 32 to 60 fps
Flying near hills: 22 to 40
Bugs I have noticed:
Seeing terrain though mountains - only saw
this on one flight, for the duration of the flight.
I could see the white panels right through the mountain. Perhaps because I am running in
lowest graphic modes.
After being shot down and replaning, my frame
rate dropped to between 1 and 5 on the runway
and 8 to 10 in the air - even at high alt over water. I was blown up by flak while fiddling
with preferances panel, and framerates
returned to my normal ones for my next flight.
My opinion at this point is that I prefer the new
gunnery model, and look forward to AHii going
to release, in spite of the performance hit my
system will take.
