Knife-fighters beware!!..
« on: October 06, 2000, 10:44:00 PM »
In my 5 or so yrs. flying WW2 flight sims,I've come acroos a handfull of just AMAZING angle fighters. My list includes the likes of EADG, Konrad and Kieren to name a few. These are the kind of guys that just seem to have a sixth sense in judging angles
at any aspect.
Well,I'll add to my list DMF.Have faced this guy a few times now and every time have
come away going WOW!!I felt like I was fighting myself on steroids !!Great fun and a great sport to boot.As were the before mentioned.Guys like this keep me coming back for more when the 'bad attitudes' start getting under my skin.

    Salute DMF,

<S> By-Tor.      Those were some fun fights tonight!  H2H really is where it's at for me these days... quick to the fights, fast fights, and hard fights.  Thank you very much for the kind words, By-Tor.

That's a fact, it's like he's got some kind of tractor/pressor beam that locks him at 150yds back.  Even with massive closure rate and you idle your throttle when he's still 1.4k away and closing fast.

Good thing he dinnae have an airbag, he'd trigger it when he fired his retro rockets.

I managed to do it in a Zeke once

Even managed to run home, and to later find out the 3 guys that picked him up after I disengaged had all died...

Yep, she is.  She doesn't play any flight sims anymore -- AW out of choice, and any others due to computing constraints.  Lately we've been having a lot of fun playing Combat Mission.  You can see some of her posts over at the Big Time Software homepage.

P.S.  The secret to shaking Citabria off one's six is to not let him get there in the first place.  :P
