Could not get either ltv2 or ltv4 to stop.

Cut engine, kept moving forward.
Pulled back on joystick, kept moving forward.
Pushed on space bar, kept moving forward.
Couldn't put into reverse, because was moving forward.
(This was in water, didn't try on land)

A good software tester would have found this in alpha testing.

The lvta's usually take pretty long to stop in the water. Try waiting for some 10 seconds or so to let it stop.

But I take it you already know that, haven't experienced the bug yet.

I just went and tested this.  I get the same thing but here's my outlook on it.  It's a boat they just don't stop right away.  I'm not sure if LVTs had a reverse function to slow their approach to the shore line though.  I'd assume they did though like any other boat.  If thats the case then it should be modeled like the PT Boat.

Hitting your brakes to stop a boat in the water just isn't gonna work though.  If it's not on the ground then why should it stop right way because you hit brakes? If you wanna slow down quicker fire the howitzer into the water in front of you.  It'll start slowing you down.  I'm sorry but the only flaw I see here is the fact you can't access reverse to slow down and lack of using common sense.

Well you're right though.

But closing or lowering throttle on time helps pretty well too.
Just close the throttle and make some corners or something.

I've driven both vehicles in AH I and they do not act the same in AH II. Even in the water, both vehicles stop fairly quickly when the engine is killed, but not in AH II.
