One of my brothers writes the things that you supposedly buy newspapers for. He's a staff writer for the LA Times.
He's been juggled between every dept., writing whatever for whoever. For eg., he's been writing for the sports section lately, but they sent him to cover the Iraq war. A sports writer covering the Iraq war.

He was in Qatar covering the lead up to the war, then travelled up into it during the invasion. His biggest piece turned out to be how expensive yet carefuly the military went about trying to spare the historical landmarks/museums...
Me? I make the goofy things in-between those important things that try and compell ya to buy microwave ovens or whatever. Print, radio and TV. Wanna sell something? Gimme lotsa money and tell me who yer trying to sell it to. I'll get her done.
