err what i gotta do to get a job at IBM? :D

I was otw home today and was going up that sweet hill on my bike hauling arse and then yur stinking IBM traffic light turns red:mad:

But then a convoy of chicks came rolling out :D  I thought only old geeks worked there??? (with the exception of you of course :D )

Anyways after a long pause, I rode on saying to myself... hmmm Slapshot's getting me a job there now:D

I'll have to leave the family biz but there is a very nifty trade off you see, so its worth it!

Cmon I sure they have some intern jobs or something for college dudes like myself ;)

Ifluff'n you get me a job there I'll let you take my bike out for a spin hehe.

Transfer to the University of Texas.....In Austin

We have IBM , samsung , Dell , Symetec , Motorola , ect....

ANd...Hippy Hollow , Lake Travis , Lake Austin , Texas State U.. Warm Weather..Spandex...Bikes...so called "Live Music capital of the world" 6th street , and tons more stuff....LOL

Move to Atlanta.  I work for IBM here.  I am sure there are position available.  And there is a big push to hire people right out of college (and interns) if they have the right major.

hmmmm IBM. Slapshots been holdin out on me I think:p I normally take a different way home but it was so nice out and there's a few nice turns with some long streaches in between . I had the new bike out so I figured I'd play speed racer hehe. This bike will be the death of me lol...

Worked out pretty well, and I think I'll be going home that way again LOL I might even stop and pay a visit to slapshot hehe.

haha RedTop UCONN's only cold when you sleep along hehe :D I like the school tho, esp this year with all the frickn basket ball crap going on there was 10+ parties going on every night lol. Plus when im home I am about 30 minutes from NYC which there is never a shortage of things to do there.

You need to check with your guidance department at UConn and see if they participate in the IBM Intern program. That is the easiest way to get in. There is a direct connection between a school and Human Resources. I would be surprised if UConn does not participate in the program.

If I submit your resume, it will only go into the rather HUGE pile of resumes at Human Resources. All employment goes thru HR. Managers can't just hire from "off the street".

If you get your resume/application in there thru UConn, you can definately use me as a reference.

What is your major by the way ... Computer Science ? or girl-watching on a ricer ?

haha! I'd like to think its the later. Tho on the weekends now that its nice out we go down to NewHaven. Most of the blood gangs have moved out now so its safe to go hang out there with out the aid of body armor. There are the occational drive bys down by the Club district. Sad.  You'd think with Yale Univ' being right there the crime wouldnt' be so bad.

In answer to your question. Im nearly done with my 4 yr in Bis and am currently working on Comp Sci. Its a 2 yr deal so doubling up classes makes it haul that much faster. Its as my father always told me though. Work hard now and you get to play hard sooner.

hehehe oh and btw. I took the "longer" way home for the past 3 days now. lol  No convoy of lovely ladies streaming out tho :(
I didnt have the bike tho I had the mustang


Its dirty as all get out so maybe the thats why I saw no girls?:confused:
