Using mouse with AHII
« on: May 23, 2004, 07:29:58 PM »
Currently I am using a mouse with AHII and what I need to know is how to reset the mouse sensitivity. I must have changed it some how cause I am all over the place now. And is there a way to eliminate the need to use the shift m feature in order to use the mouse?

I don't believe the mouse is supported in AH2.

It was working fine just like in AH1 then I started messing around with the settings and I think what happened is I went into the calibrate screen and that is what threw it out of wack. I assume that if I uninstall then reinstall it will not help cause my settings will be saved on the server. I can't install a joystick cause the boss just would not understand! :D

To my understanding, and I could be wrong, your settings would be saved on your FE or computer, not the server. There is probably a file or folder you could delete to get back to default settings although I'm not sure which ones do that. It has to be some type of cfg file.
I just checked, there is a mouse.cfg file which might be it.
I'd save that as a backup, say change it to mousebackup.cfg and see if the game creates a new default mouse.cfg file. I'm assuming it will.

I also believe no decision has been made on mouse usage in AH2... yet.

Would any settings for the mouse in your OS effect the way it reacts in AH1 or 2 is a good questions that HTC would have more info on.

Ok I found the problem, there was a stick.cfg file, once I got rid of that the problem was solved. Thanks for getting me on the right track for troubleshooting FUZE
