Here's another I just experienced.  At a busy grocery store it squealing irritates me to see people who park their shopping cart on one side of the aisle and then walk to the other side effectively blocking both sides of the aisle.  And then they act like they are inconvenienced when you want to go through.

this pisses me off too, also slowpokes in the left lane, and the ones who come fro the right to the left to go the sme speed as another care in the right lane so noone can get by.

Germany has the best rule on that - drive on the right, pass on the left.  If YOU are passed on the right on the autobahn, you get a hefty fine.  right on

I have a standard responce for each of these.

When I come across one of these yoyo's that think they are gonna protect their car by taking up two spots what I do is pull in right along side next to em and park so close that the only way they can get in is through the passangers side.
Received more then one "thank you" note on my windsheild for that LOL

But its better then  what a buddy of mine used to do.
he would unfold a paper clip and runa scratch down the side from headlight to tail light and would say "that ta show em they aint immune"

As far as the toilet seat. That is one of my pet peeves too. Women complaining about the toilet seat being left up.
My feeling is that anyone that doesnt check before they sit down deserves exactly what they get.
When a woman complains about that I just tell em.
"Hey, just be happy I lifted it to begin with. My aim isnt always so good":aok

Couple of peeves.

Cops that completely ignore the 3 cars that just flew past you like you were standing still then pull YOU over to give you a speeding ticket.

Clowns that think they are their Honda Civic handles like an 18 wheeler and insist on bearing right first to make a left turn. and vice versa.

Women who hold out on giving sex to their husbands and act lke its some kind of virtue. Then get upset when he cheats And cant understand why he would do so. Sister in law did that. she didnt like when I said to her "Well its your own damn fault what the hell did you expect him to do?"

My latest biggest peeve Which is the price fo beef and
the way the price of one cut of beef can triple yet another cut stay the same.
Doesnt it all come from the same friggen animal??

Vegetarians that have the complexion of someone who died 4 days ago telling me how eating meat is unhealthy

And while we're on the subject.
Diehard extreme Animal rights activists.. All of them
And no I dont care how an animal is treated or killed before it reaches my dinner table. I only care that it tastes good.

I could go on

In responce to the toilet lid issues ... I stopped complaining about it ages ago and just did something about it.

The lid is no longer an issue in our home ...

Oh, we have similar laws.  Unfortunately, traffic cops are more interested in looking for the red convertable doing 69 in a 65 than the minivan that's had cruise control set at 64 for the past 10 miles in the left lane.

I swear to frikken God it ridiculous... the drivers they let on the road today... some of them are totally oblivious to whats going on around them.. the rest like to play 'formation driving' like you described so no one can get past.

The difference between Germany and the US is the drivers training.  It actually costs MONEY in Germany to get a permit and you actually get trained (what a concept, eh?).... in the US if youve got a face, can spell your name, and understand that the red cirlcle thingy means 'stop' youre good to go.

Sometimes not even that is needed.
