No anger here, just pity that someone has to return here time after time changing their handle and so obviously seek attention like one of those ADD kids. The pattern is scarely repetitive.

Most people here reveal a side of themselves rarely shown face to face - and freely admit it. However I'm guessing RC51/MrBlack is an exception to that rule and a lot of pyschological issues seen here spill over into real life. I doubt he'd ever be the "sniper in the tower" types, I'd put money on a half bellybutton suicide attempt to get more attention.

My experience is limited, but I've met a few members in person. No surprises there. Same people offline as well as online as near as I could tell.

I'm not angry and I have no 'hate' for anyone.

If you come to this board with 'hate' then that's what you'll take away.  Life is the same way......

I thought the same, but I've been informed on numerous occasions that I'm so full of hate that I'm blinded by it. This usually occurs when I make pessimistic observations on the occupation in Iraq. ;)

you live in (or near) KC, right?

when I lived there my pony-tail wasn't all that popular.  it's been a few years, maybe things have changed.  as a kid I was the only long-hair for about 8-10 miles from my house.  probably why I kept it, something a little different than the straw cowboy hats and the faded skoal ring in the hip pocket.  ;)

Thank you for your imput.
The reason behind all the name changes Is that Unlike nost of you  I get banned for speaking my mind and for standing up for myslef.

So every time Skuzzy lets me back in he ask me to choose a new name.

Now do you have anything to add to the discussion besides adding more proof to my point?

I think it's a venting forum. I believe most people have experienced situations in which they felt angry about another person's opinion on a certain subject. However, due to social upbringing and the teaching of moral values, it is deemed "rude" to toss out completely honest retorts unchecked by a regard for other people's feelings. In here, you don't have to look someone in the face and are free to let responses motivated by anger spew forth unchecked. A pair of eyes looking back at you expressing the emotions of hurt, anger, etc... have a way of keeping most people's ego in check. Some are blatantly honest anyway, and they're the ones walking around with black eyes, etc...

I say it's a mechanism to release pent up hostility for those who have not yet learned to handle it in other ways. I've been guilty of it myself on certain occasions...

GrimCO,

There's certainly merit in what you say...anonymity breeds egotism, contempt for others, and, therefore, rude behavior.

However, I also think there is something to be said for the argument that rude bboarders are sexually deprived.

I know it makes ME surly.

Regards, Shuckins/Leggern
