Was running beta 35, runs offline fine, all normal.
Logged in, autoupdate (beta 36) started, fell over at 100%. CTRL-ALT-DEL only way to regain system. Tried again, same result. Downloaded beta 36, ran update, installed OK. Runs offline OK but semi-crashes system on quit (AHII welcome screen won't go away / blanks screen partial control of system but restart CTRL-ALT-DEL required).
Bottom line 35 worked fine, 36 has screwed everything. Hope this makes sense and is of some use to someone?
FYI I run a homebuilt system (spec follows) with a 512mb cable connection.
