Back up and running
« on: March 03, 2000, 11:45:00 AM »

I hope you all like the new menu display on the HTC home page.  If anyone has any questions, comments, or suggestions please let me know.

Also, in case you missed it in the News forum, you may now check your account history online under the Secure Admin menu.

Thanks,
Ronni

The menus are looking goofy on some browsers.  I'm fixing that now.

Gee.. is there anything you guys don't do well?    Nice work on the revamped menu system Ronni.  Definitely much easier and quicker to navigate the site.  Looks fine in Netscape 4.7 and IE 5.0 here.  Keep up the good work!

Well, it's, (how do I say this?)well, ugly!

The nav bar text on the left side could be a better font, and the popup boxes obscure the other menu selections.  Maybe the popups could happen at the bottom of the left column.

Sorry, but you did ask.  And as anyone in the sales business will tell you, first impressions count a lot

cc that BD

New homepage is simply ugly Cool navigation tree, but the old design was much better in my opinion. Though maybe it's just my browser, gotta get home and check it out again...

Looks fine to me, but it takes twice as long to load all that fancy stuff in the nav frame, would rather it was back the way it was.

To those of you who like the new page, thanks.

To those of you who don't - are you guys saying you would prefer more links and clicks to take you where you need to go rather than a one-click menu?  Personally, I like uncluttered web pages and I like finding what I need in as few clicks as possible.  I was just trying to make the page easier to use.

About the font - I guess that's what happens when you let a programmer do art.    I'll change the font this weekend.

Thanks for your input.

hey ronni,

how about something similar to this:

less graphics more html for quicker downloads.
