Okay, more from 5-29 Moffett. No cropping, only two had shadows/highlight adjustments. All reduced to 1/4 size and copyright watermark added.

Wow there were some great closeups! I especially like the cockpit from above.

The P51 and F15 pair looked great too. How did you get the prop spin and sharp photo? Panning?

Do you use a tripod, any special mounting hardware, or just hold the camera in your hands?

Depending on the situation. If the plane's flight will not pass over me, change directions too quickly, or fly too fast, I'll use a tripod or monopod. Otherwise, I'll handhold pan. Panning seems to be more intuitive and accurate if handholding. If I start to get the fatigue shakes from handholding, I'll use one of the support devices above.

What lens do you use for shots like those? I just bought the 10D's little brother, the EOS Dig Rebel 300D, and would like to be able to use it to it's fullest. Also, are you shooting in .RAW or Jpeg?
