Import settings from AH1
« on: May 28, 2004, 09:01:50 AM »
Okay, maybe I wasn't paying attention and hit the next button too many times (been doing incremental patches for a while now) but I failed to import my AH1 settings into AH2. Can anyone conclusively say which files should and should not be copied over from the AH1 install? I've got the sound pack from Mitsu saved somewhere but would prefer the drag-and-drop, is that safe to do?

Edbert. In your aceshighII folder there is a file named imported.
Delete this file and rerun ahii and it will ask you to import them again.

Nice feature!

I just had to reinstalled WinXP and only have AH-II On it now.  But I did save my prior AH1 settings folder on a "back up" CD and I was wondering (wil try it later but it may be a couple of days..) if I can import from that?

Thanks!
