One wonders how and yet to be accurate reported so many hostages died. And 4 of the commandos escaped. To me it stinks of corruption and a Poilitcal PR exercise to show the US and west that they are "on top of things" as far as terroists.
If they had been boys from Hereford doing that assault the terroists would of been killed in their sleep.

Roger that! Whether the tangos were sleeping or not would not have made a differerence. The boys from the Peak District are quite talented and well respected among the community worldwide
Having been on sandy ground once upon a time, the whole concept of Saudi commandos is like a contradiction in terms. It's a two class society in my first-hand opinion, fanatics or cowards. Well three classes actually, those rich enough not to care either way represent the 3rd. There are exceptions of course but those seemed to be rare at the time.
