I know this may be late in the development, but I had a suggestion.  Could we have manable guns at strat targets and in the towns next to bases?

As it is right now strat targets are just kind of hanging out there.  Any somewhat decent pilot or GV driver can take out the ack at a strat target (the AI for the field guns isn't that smart: they just fire a lot).  I know, I've done it before myself.  At that point the target becomes easy pickins.

By the same token, since the town is the key to a base capture, I don't know why we have no manable ack positions there. Would be nice to be able to jump into a gun and help defend the town instead of having to drive all the way from the VH.

Just a thought...

I'm in favor of mannable town ack and strat ack, too.

Let those poor citizens have some protection!

Isn't this a design consideration of a map rather than by default?  

I'm pretty sure if you want mannable ack at towns etc, all you need is to design the map with those objects.
