Sound volume changes with views.

Maybe this has been on the board before, in that case, sorry.

But,
When I am in the plane and looks to the left or to the right, then the volume gets about 50% louder, when I look  front again or checks my 6 it is back to normal.
Not a big deal, but I think it is pretty anoying  

This must be somekind of a bug, aint it ?

Currently I am using akwabbits sounds, but it was the same with the originals too.

My soundcard is a soundblaster live.

When you look to the left, the sound in your left speaker should go out.  When you look to the right, the sound in your right speaker should go out.  This has been discussed before under the "Gameplay" discussion directory.  It more of a feature than a bug... though that is disputable.

Well, it does, but it seems like the sound in the left speaker goes out, walks over my desk and jumps in to my right speaker , and then the volume in my right speaker gets alot louder, about 50% louder than when I look straight ahead.

Is that just on my computer or does this happen to you all ?

I have 2 computers that I play AH on.  One uses a SB 16 card and the other uses a Yamaha Opl-3ax chip.  (The Yamaha is being replaced by a vortex2 card today.   )  I can tell you they behave quite differently.  On the SB 16 when I look left, the sound comes only from the right speaker.  On the Yamaha, the volume of the right speaker increases, but the left stays the same.  (The SB 16 also makes popping noises when changing views.)

(In case anyone is interested, I'm replacing the Yamaha card because it doesn't work well with Roger Wilco.  My SB 16 seems to work fine with it though.)
