Spits are fine by me, I dont mind them at all. They are a heck of a lot easier to kill than Lgay-7's.

Although I rather just see the G10 dropped and the rest of the setup left as is.

"We do have British and Canadian players who might have liked to participate in a 60th D-Day Anniversy setup."

Well said. No need for a Spit XIV but we could have had something from the RAF/RCAF.

Isn't that James Doolittle on that P-38?

I have to agree.

You are correct Rafe, that is Doolittle.

And although I would very much like the setup with just the minor G10 tweak.  I would have to agree that due to the special nature of the setup the RAF/RCAF should be represented.

Sorry folks, my gaming system died on me sometime Thursday night.

Many thanks to Jester and Mister Fork for stepping in and setting up the arena for me.
Fork noted that he added the P-38L to add some variety to the mix.
G10 and P-51B are available at 3 bases each if I understood them correctly.

It appears the power supply died on my system, luckily I have one I kept as a spare.
I will have my system up and running sometime after lunch hopefully.

Karnak, you made a very valid point, and I want to apologize to our British or Canadian players.
I will add the Mossie and Typhoon later this afternoon.
That was an oversight on my part, not thinking to include British planes, and I am truly sorry.

Hey hey hey!

I think that "Doolittle" P-38, fits the criteria for skinning an AH2 P-38! The only silver P-38 I've seen without noseart, killmarkings, letters and numbers on the fuselage..!! (which means all of the troubling issues with the P-38 texture can be avoided..!!)

Anyone got a good profile pic, or info on that P-38? Side? Top? Type? Is it a 38J? 38L? Which FG or FS was it with?

All credit goes to the Forkster. I got caught up doing Fire Dept. business and didn't get back home in time to help set it up.

FYI: the P-51D was just entering service in June. Batz/Wotan/Brady?

The P-51D participated with D-Day.
