you original post has little accuracy for facts as you even state that its only possible to kill a pnsr with 1000lbs direct hit.

i have killed pnsrs with yak 30mm or IL-2 100 kg bombs. tigers are harder to kill.
why do people always think the spit is bugged. It truly was the most amazing aeroplane ever built. by far the best for aerial combat in WW2. apart from maybe the russian lalas and the corsair.
