CPU vs Vid Card:
« on: June 03, 2004, 02:56:01 PM »
In my investigations into the right hardware for internet gaming, particularly AHII, it is apparent to me that a medium-priced graphics card will do just fine for AHII if the CPU is 2 GHz or better. Is that right? There are many of you out there who're much more knowlegable about this stuff than I am. I look forward to hearing from you.

id say any CPU 2 ghz or better teamed with
a mid level Video card( like TI4400 or Radeon 9600s)
should give u ample fps to play  AH2.

cpu + ram
without 512 mb ram AH2 is not worth to lunch

i got at Fry's athlon 2400+ and 512 mb ram
oryginal i have gs4 440 64 mb, but for thos configuration i brought FX5200 and dot see much performance improvement.

Anyway, without top line  video card you can play AH2, without fast cpu and ram, not
