Kerry wouldn't be my first choice, I'm not so much for him.

instead I'm more against Bush, I don't think our country can take another 4 years of his crap.  as to why I'm against him and his policy's, have you been reading the news the last 4 years?

here's a short list, just a few things that come to mind right now.

1.  upon election, he immediately repealed the workers safety act (required employers to design a work place so as not to promote injuries in workers)

2.  he has taken more vacations and gives fewer press conferences than any president in history.

3. he claims to be for less gov't, less taxes, and less spending.  however, he creates one of the biggest bureaucracy's ever, constantly has the federal gov't trying to over-ride state law, and is spending money at an outrageous rate.  taxes haven't been raised yet, but they will have to be eventually to cover the debt he's running up.

4. he started a war for no clear reason.  Afghanistan had to happen, but we have been given no clear reason for Iraq, every time you prove that the given reason doesn't play out they switch back to another.  (example- it was because of 9/11, but there has been no connection between Iraq and 9/11.  was because of imminent threat of WMD, but they've never been found, and if any are ever found, they have been hidden well enough that they weren't an immediate threat.  we are there in support of the UN resolution, but the un didn't want us to go.  and so on.....)

5.  our kids are dying at an increasing rate.   see #4

6. he has attacked the over-time wage system.

I’m not saying to not to post about politics, but in-between, try and add something of substance to the O’Club maybe? Just saying.

I will be sure and check with you to make sure that the content and topic of my posts are acceptable.

you see - I do sarcasm just fine! ;)

so far... the majority not voting for Bush is basing their vote for kerry on.... Hes not Bush.

This would mean that all the shrillness is paying off I would think.

you will be in good company... the women will vote for kerry and they know what is good for you.  heck... the euros like him and we would all like to be more like the french say... right?

oh, 1 more to add to that list.

I'm fairly sure that if bush wins in November there will be a draft before next spring.  Bush disregards the will of the American people as it is, imagine how little he would care what we want if he didn't have to try to get elected.  thats what another term for him would be all about.

and laz, you keep talking about how you feel things will be under Kerry, the things he might do.

I don't have to wonder what Bush will do, I've lived it for 4 years and I've had enough of it.  most of America feels this way,  Hope they still do in November.
