After patching to 39 I was playing almost 30 mins without any problem but the usual stuttering. Then I exited the online game and let the login window open, when I loged-in again everything was grey without any textures, except the interior of the cockpits and the airfields, even the trees were grey.

That sounds something like what happened when I tried upping the texture size from 128 to 256.  The instrument panel and my p51 were all gray, I think the world was in color but I'm color blind.:)  I put it back to 128 and things came back to the way they were.
Easy in-game again.

Was a warning from Pyro on update 39

If you try to raise Texture size problems will arise.

Mine is 512...set automatically when logged on by the software.

My card can handle that texture size...some can't.

Read the warning from Pyro.

Yep Hajo, but some of us are always mixing the elements the instructors tell us not to.  Most of the time if just stinks or blows up a few test tubes. ;)
