Guys,

I saw you suggest in another thread (a whine thread by a newbie) you had some skill in GVs and manned acks (using mouse, etc) and I'd like some advice if possible. You can post here or we can email if interested, thanks!

I didn't want to reply in that thread, because I doubt you're giving it any more of your time :)

Hi

First of all download this sight and place in your sight directory:

This was originally designed by Torquila and then modified to the version above by Mitsu.

This sight allows you to do long range shots pretty well and is much better than the default.  To shoot at aircraft with lead shots then I normally put the mouse pointer on the aim point and then press Page Up to elevate the seat so you're slightly out of the turret.  You can then see a bit more clearly when trying to lead.  Whilst doing this zoom right in and then out a bit and aim a long way ahead.  I found practicing on the drones helped tremendously.  With practice, and if they're flying level/circular orbit, you can hit at up to 2.5k out.

Thanks!

Now all I need is a reason to call in sick so I can try it out! You use this only for G2A or G2G as well?

nice site replicant ..thats even better than the one i use.

Redtail heres a lil trick for use in panzers and tiggers. before u fire your first ranging shot make your best guess at range then put your mouse cursor on the enemy GV. When you fire your turret moves so put you lil cursor back on the GV if short rais up, put curser back on gv fire again evt till u have the range

Heres another lil trick. pick out a likely GV crossing spot that offers good cover, kill your engine and LISTEN for da enemy's tank 85% of good tanking is being sneaky
Remember playing hide and seek as a kid? Same thing only with AP rounds.
