the ground was dark and i believe there where not many textures,

i tried to set it to unlimited per frame as i believe it was set to 1 texture per frame .

but i couldn't get there as i get cdt when i enter the video setting.

ill wait for the next patch and see.

I am getting the same thing....both on and offline....

I set the textures to 1024...then did the restart...got black ground and see thru planes....deleted my cache folder and it came back OK.

HOWEVER,  Everytime I go to VIDEO settings I get CTD....on and offline.....

Now I cant even reset things....very strange indeed...hopefully HTC can let us know what is going on with this.

Regards,

:)

When I set my game textures to  1024 my clipboard became invisible, could only see the words. Knocked it down 1 and it runs smooth with a visible clipboard.

Sunking,

HiTech told me to delete the cache folder in the AH2 folder...then when you run the game again your graphics are all in 1024....no invisi stuff....that fixes it.

Regards

However does not fix the CTD thing when going to video settings on or offline when running 1024 mode.

Got the same here, going to 128 texture size or 1024, invisible plane (except guages gunsight) could fly around and shot people easily, unbelieveable deflection shots below the nose.

This  could be a crutch if people take advantage of it.

I would like to see it fixed in a way that if their graphics don't load they ctd, if possible.

Athlon XP 1700
Win98se
dx9
ati radeon 9000 64ddr 4xagp
cat 4.3 ( newest upgrade for win98 )
256 mem (333)
(all drivers updated and current)

To stop the ctd occuring, delete the cache folder.

At game start up,  at the FIRST screen select video setup and select 512 again in here.

AH2 will start up and not ctd if you go to the video setup in game.

However if you reselect 1024 you will get the ctd again.

As others have stated if you select 1024 in game and get wierd graphics just deleting the cache folder will correct it but at the expense of a ctd if you go to the video setup tab.

Those of you with a ctd check your video memory report in game, I noticed mine at 1024 is using all available video memory.
