I need a sounds list that shows what sounds are coded to each of the planes.  Preferably for the B-17.

Raptor, I don't know if it's of any use but I have a complied a list of sounds. It's on the Downloads page of my AH site:

 http://www.internet-today.co.uk/myweb/bradburger/Ahsounds.htm

As for what sounds are coded for each plane I don't think there are any at the moment. They all seem fairly generic.

I assume you just use the same name for the file as the default game sounds: i.e if you want to have a seperate gear sound for the B17 then name the file Gear and place it in the B17 sounds folder.

Apologies if I'm stating the obvious!

I haven't worked out which gun sounds are tied to what plane yet but will do when I have more time.

Cheers

Bradburger

We'll be working on the sounds in the coming week.  Once that's done, I'll include a sound list in future downloads.

Bradburger,

Yes, I've known about your site for quite some time and appreciate your work.  I have a buddy who does digital recording of WWII a/c and has a CD entitled "The Sound of Warbirds Volume One - The American Eagles of the WWII Era".  He works for Cohearent Audio & Video and is currently working on Volume II which will include some of the British planes.

I have my AH set of sounds for the B-17 almost complete.  I just need the list from HTC.

Pyro,  thanks bud!

Have you ever heard of the Meatwater soundpacks? They did some refined sounds for various games, especially the EAW soundpack is worth a look: frighting immersive engine sound, new radio music, new german briefing...

I wonder if they'd do a AH soundpack if enough people would ask for it. I didn't figured it out yet how to use the EAW sounds for AH - but I am a real dweeb when it comes to programing...

You may check out their page at www.meatwater.de
