I had a bad feeling when that huge bar counter showed up over the ocean SW A17 last nite...
Some rooks scrambled against what it seemed a high alt coordinated attack from A18, only to find that it was a NOE mission. Now that is unfair, to put it mildly. No way on earth such mission should have shown up in our radars. No way. That mission deserved to get to our dot radar unnoticed. Knights were flying very low just over the middle of nowhere. No ground information, no radar coverage, no nada. No way any screening device could report to Rook headquarters.
Even over land, the Bar counter should refer to an undetermined area of 4 sectors, to simulate uncertainty of reports and actual bearing of NOE flyiers.
<S> to Knights for a brave fight and a brave attempt fighting not only Rooks but game settings. Was really FUN. But I feel somehow guilty about spoiling a well planned attack (let alone flying N1K2

) that should fly (under the mildest realistic settings) unnoticed unless some scout planes physically spot planes or it was too late to immediate counter.
Cheers,
Pepe
