Since we're waiting, I might as well tell a little true story...

I was part of a little group attacking some base on some map. I started noticing that the same name popped up in my kill msgs. It was none other than the gentleman whose name adorns the title of this thread.

Eventually, he couldn't bear the injustice he must have felt by being shot fown by my FM2 over and over again. He let his voice and opinion be heard, and such a voice, language and opinion!
By using many creative words he basically said this:

"You are a lousy pilot, and the only reason you can kill me is because you start from an advantage!"

I couldn't listen to this! My heart went out to the guy being airvulched from 2-3k alt by my FM2. I quickly decided that I was to give him a chance to put things straight. I invited him to kill me in the DA.

We went and fought in the DA with various planes (of his choice) and we merged with equal advantage. After he was killed half a dozen times, his closing words were these:

"You suck! You kill me because you have the advantage, you.... !"

"Exactly how do I have an advantage here?"

"Because you make better merges.... you suck!"

Man, I thought it was just me.... The one time I winged with him, he chewed me out like there was no tomorrow. I thought I was gonna have to jump off a bridge to make it up to him.

When the guest of honor first started playing AH, he was a member of my squad, Pigs On The Wing. He was a little less than compatible with the squad, but he is a fairly decent pilot and a team mate nonetheless, but yes he carries on a good bit... But there are far worse I assure you!

Switched to nits two nights ago when they were in the bucket. Last night, I was besieged by ridenlow's vox and baba's text.
I do my share of whining, although not about who should defend/take what base, but do these guys carry on like that often?

In baba's defense XJ, murdr, and I poked fun at him on ch2 about his tantrums and he was able to laugh at it all. If you can laugh at yourself, ( I often laugh at my own silly behavior) you can't be all bad.
When baba was in my vox range, he was quite amiable. Ridenlow was another story. Oh well, maybe it was just a bad nite?

I've had dealings with ridenlow, and I think he is ok.

He started off down the noisy road, but he put aside the mask eventually and we had a pleasant DA experience. He's also an eager learner and a good stick, he's learned a lot in the fairly short time he's been with us (Well, I haven't been around forever either;). I know I wasn't that good at such an early stage.

Like you say Steve, I have no problem with the big mouths that can take a step back and lower the sword...

...then there's the case with LTOWN.

Does he have any... forgiving traits?
