Panzer damage

What I noticed tonight is this:

A farm boy with a slingshot can take out a panzer turret, but 25 AP rounds at 400 away won't kill it no matter where you hit it. But the next time you hit a Panzer from 1200 away and it blows up with one hit.

And there isn't any smoke when Panzers are damaged.

The damage model for the Panzer is bad to say the least. I have had my Panzer turret knocked out regularly by machine gun and aircraft cannon fire attacking from less than 45 degrees to the turret. That is wrong.

The Panzer IV Ausf H had 80mm of armor with additional armor skirting 8mm thick to detonate HE rounds prematurely. The minimum armour was 15mm thick. That would be on the bottom. Yet aircraft routinely strafe and knock out Panzer turrets. It just shouldn't happen. Unless the cupola hatch were open and the round went right in and hit the tank commander on top of the head and he had a live grenade in his hand inside the turret. Than just maybe it could happen.

Please work on the damage model.

Also, attacking V64 from A5, near the top of the hill near the base my Panzer sank into the ground. WTH? OK, quicksand? Hummm.

And I still can't access the clipboard options by right clicking on it while in any vehicle/aircraft.

I Know what u mean..:(  how is it that 20 AP rounds can't hurt a tank, but .50cals' from a plane will take motor or main gun  :mad:
     Please fix this.....
