Oh, no !!!

Well, this is a big one, I had to post it here, not in other forums.

Once I pinged a p51 bad, he lost a wing. I flew away, expecting a kill. Nothing ! Ok, I thought, maybe I did not see right or the guy disconnected, whatever.

Today, I shot a wing from p51 in my 109 (30mm, 2 x 20mm and 2 13mm). I took a screenshot. Again, I expected a kill. Nothing. The guy landed !!!! When I asked him how did he do it, he said maybe it was just my FE. As for damage, he reported none, only few pings.

This happened at 16:51 (GMT +1).

He says he wasn't damaged, but I know for a fact that the P-51 will fly without a wing.  I got my left wing shot off by ack, only a wingspar was sticking out.  With careful use of rudder and aileron, I was able to bring it gently to a landing on the grass at about 160mph, but I died during the rollout when the left side touched down.  If I had left my gear up I probably would have survived.
