you're right  the left always cries "Foul Ball" about Bush.... and the Right always cries "Good".  That's why the politics in america are so screwed up.  The prosperity of the parties are put before the prosperity of the country.

why did boosh say (on video tape, in front of a live audience) that he saw the first plane go into WTC tower #1 and THEN go speak to the kids?

I hadn't heard this, please refer me to the link.

how exactly is a president supossed to react to an airliner crashing into a building?   How bout a train derailment?    your aunt fanny crashing into a bridge abutmant in her prius?

3 different children all drowning in 5 gallon bucket in their own backyards all in the same day?

Pongo. I have to agr... agre.... agree with the republiclowns on this one. The 11 minute lag time is pretty much a non-issue AFAIC. Confusion reigned, and I think anyone would have had to take a "wait and see" stance for a short time anyway.

Well, now that you mentioned it....

If only Slick hadn't bombed those baby food and aspirin factories the babies wouldn't have cried and the parents might not have been so grumpy without the headaches.

Answer my question, plowhead.  Here, let me repeat it for you.

How exactly did Bush leave the U.S so wide open to attack?

I have seen this video clip 3 times now...the most recent just this past week when our CBC TV network aired a show called the 5th Estate (repeated by request). I also saw it once on US TV.

here is one link...referring to CNN etc (read for yourself)

Source

It is about half the way down this long page under the column heading: BUSH
(9:01 a.m.)

Exceprt:

Bush later makes the following statement: "And I was sitting outside the classroom waiting to go in, and I saw an airplane hit the tower - the TV was obviously on, and I use to fly myself, and I said, 'There's one terrible pilot.' And I said, 'It must have been a horrible accident.' But I was whisked off there - I didn't have much time to think about it."

The man did nothing.
Dont make it seem like the danger of airliners as weapons had never been thought of before. It was well known and documented.

The man did nothing. It is pathetic. Its repulsive. Like he wasnt even curios. Defend him all you want. If it had been a liberal you would be roasting him for it. Over a slow fire and forever.

ya jump up and scare the hell out of the 8 year-olds he was sitting with.
He has a military staff whom were monitoring the situation. Beside correct me if I'm wrong but how long does it take to scramble an intercepter? to take down the second plane, He had only 11 minitues to get it up and to the plane that he didn't know exsisted or were it was going?

August 6, 2001 Presidential Daily Brief:  Bin Ladin determined to strike the US

What actions were taken by Bush in response?  Apparently, not very much.

hmmmm, let me put it another way.

Of course he's stupid, but the 11 minute lag isn't evidence of that stupidity.

thought the paraniod left said it was the CIA that flew the planes into the WTC so bush could occupy iraq and we could pay record prices for gas so he and his oil buds could get richer faster

wonder what he'll get the CIA to do in the last weeks in Oct to insure an election victory in Nov ...
