ok,,im having a proublem with aces high 2,,i just updated it and when i went to play it ,,it came up with this message

the d3d9.dll file is linked to missing export ddraw.dll:ddentry21.

i tried to find a few quick fixes but im at a loss:( skuzzy or anyone know any fixes i can try before i totaly have to reinstall my windows? i dont wanna have to cancel my aces high account over this problem and i hope some one can help me {begs},,lol

my pc is a pentium 4,,1.4gig 386megs of rambus ram
geforce fx 5200 256mb
windows me <~~if any of that info helps

That's the message you get if you don't have DX9.

well,it didnt work,,im going to try and reinstall my vid card drivers and see if that helps,,if not,,im going to have to reboot,,thx for the help anyways,,lol,computers suck somtimes,,hehe

Run DXDIAG (Start->Run->DXDIAG) and see what version of DirectX it shows to be installed on your computer. If it does not show DirectX 9 (look towards the bottom of the first panel) then you did not successfully upgrade to DirectX 9.

You can also accomplish the upgrade by using Internet Explorer and under the 'Tools' Menu, select 'Windows Update' and have the site scan for updates and select the DirectX 9 Runtime update from there.
You will have to select the operating system list from the left side panel to get to the recommended updates as DirectX is not in the Critical Updates.

ya i ran dxdiag and it wouldnt update,,,tried to even reinstall direct x,,i finaly just said hell with it and reformatted my hard drive,,everything runing great now:),,aces high 2 runing from 50 to 100 fps,,,very happy with aces high 2 so far ~~and thx for the help~~
