range icons

In my opinion since we have changed the range icons. I believe to make it more realistic  if we just got rid of enemy range and icons completely.  It would make is a lot more real.  Make it just like the GV model.  In a GV you can't tell the distance of the enemy GVs or what they are right away.  You have to see them to distinguish them.  This makes it a challenge to shot them if you don't know the range for your guns.  I would like to see this for all enemy planes and vehicles.  This way you wouldn't know what planes you were up against until you could see them.  Even then you would have to be able to tell the diference.   In my opinion this would add a great deal more challenge to the game.  A challenge that I would enjoy.

nothing stops you from turning off enemy icons at your leisure. go for it. let us know how it goes.

lol

I want to say something oh so badly but I wont.

I'll say this though.

MS Flight Sim is what your looking for dude.

If you want realism step out side enjoy it.

This is a game. Its already bad enough with the icons the way they are. Now we want to take them away completely?

I think this is another example of where people who have mastered the game come into conflict with people who are just learning, yes I agree, to make the game more realistic you could remove range icons but then alot of pilots who cant play this game 24/7 like some people do would lose intrest and not fly and then the arena would be empty, this issue does not have to do with just this its something to consider when looking at all aspects of the game. I agree with the realism factor and think the more realistic the better but we all have to remember this is just a game and this is something that is supposed to be fun, HTC has done a great job of bringing something to everyone no matter what the experience. Everyone needs to understand that they are not the master of the world and other people are paying the same amount of money (its $22 dollars right cause thats what im paying) to play and the game should be just as enjoyable for them.
