confused, please help

hi
i have a pretty rare problem

when i login and see the arenas ping it says 300-400 ping,
i logout and run command window and ping server its says 70-80 ping...?
what is going wrong with my connection?

that problem not only happens with AH it happens with other all the games i play online, ie, i use gamespy and cant get less than 300 ping servers i get their ips go to cmd window and ping the server ant it says 60-80 pin...?

so from game browsers i get more than 300 ping to any server, but when ping from xp cmd window it says less than 90ms

please excuse my poor english

If you are experiencing these things since last week, you may have had some system changes either by downloaded software or you inadvertantly said yes to something you shouldn't have
The nice thing about XP is you can do a restore
go to accessories - system restore and pick a date on the calendar that is previous to your problems and see if that helps
Also, once you get your system going ok, Create a system restore point that you can return to, I recommend doing a system restore point weekly
