P51 could dump fuel.
Do not remember the book but it said that veteran P51 pilots had to tell new p51 pilots not to do a manouver with full tanks. When training a novice pilot forgot to dump fuel and did a barrel roll, stalled and nearly crashed.

Fuel Dumping in a single engine is only a matter of opening your cockpit and pulling out your side arm.

One hole in the port wing tank, one hole in the starbord wing tank just to keep the craft laterally balanced.

You have to make sure the bullet goes through the tanks and out the other side..... this will allow incoming air to take the place of the released fuel, thus increasing fuel dump flow.

Of course to double this rate...you would need to put in two holes per wingtank.
in the event of self-sealing tanks.....you're screwed....
