Skins accepted for AH2 - Information Page?

Could HTC allow a page on their website to display all the accepted skins for AH2 for each aircraft?

This would allow:

A)  How many skins have been used for each aircraft

and;

B)  You could see more information about that particular skin - e.g. Squadron, Group, Year, Pilot (if known), Location etc.  The dropdown menu in the AH2 Hangar can only supply the most minimal of information.

yep incase we didnt see a skin load..... we could check the page now and then and go wow! at the new skins we didnt know existed

We're a bit strapped right now, but I agree that we need to do something.  We've had some cases of duplicate skins coming in and that puts us in a tough position of having to decline one and potentially ticking somebody off.  But that alone wouldn't solve the problem as we don't know when people are simultaneously working on the same skin.

Maybe a sticky thread here where people can post what skins they have under construction would ease this problem?

Pyro and Skuzzy .. be honest. You're still on recovery of your deep deep deep dive (Beer and Scotch) you've had when you've released Ah2 .

I think it is a good idea, but I'd rather see their time spent elsewhere. Perhaps a community member would help develop the page?

AFAIK there are only 1 or 2 planes that have as many as 5 approved skins.  Most have none at this time. It should not be an issue of running out of slots any time soon (there are 10 per plane right?). Once they are all full we could have some sort of voting mechanism for rotatiing out some of the older or less popular ones to make room for new ones. I am assuming the abilities of the community will grown a great deal over time.

I sent one in recently and have not recieved "the letter" yet either, but don't become alarmed.

With what we got, i like the idea of a sticky maybe call it "Accepted Skins" and people can post up afew pics of their skins that have been accepted, as well as skins under construction. This would not waste alot of their time and would give us all an idea of whats what.

I asked Skuzzy before release day, if I could do such a page including download package. He told me that HTC is planing to do something like this after release and we keep in touch.

I will not start working on this without the permission to provide or direct link the official .res skins, too.

This would have to wait until next week anyway, as I'm sick and can't sit in front of my PC longer than a few minutes per day.

Thanks for your website. It has helped my a ton in copying and reskining the F4U.

BTW you can delete the first skin I posted...the lighter color blue F4U #350 has been superceded by the darker #350 paint job!
