Alright. i have no idea how to skin. please give me information on what i can use that and what i do with it. p.s free is recommended. and i dont have photo shop.

ok i get it now. but i need to know what parts the nose and tail are for the b17 its just all clumped together im so confused!:confused:

You have to edit them as they are, because they are mapped to the shape of the 3D plane. Basically you have to look at the "squished" .bmp files and figure out what will show up in which place, and then edit the bmps accordingly. Then when you test out your skin you can feel somewhat confident that part "y" will show up where it should, and part "x" will also.

I don't mean to discourage you, but I would suggest starting with a different plane. The B-17 is very difficult to skin, I wouldn't recomend anyone use that for their first skin.
