DG indicator needle not centered
« on: June 22, 2004, 05:22:20 PM »
Noticed that the indicator needle of the DG in the F4U1D is not centered properly.

As an example, if you fly on a heading of 120 the reciprocal of that heading should be 300.

What is shown, is that on a heading of 120, the other end of the needle actually rests on a heading of approximately 310.

Repeat around the compass.

Haven't checked any other aircraft, just noticed it in the Hog.

cheers,
