This is what I'm thinking:

Motherboard Bundles  Socket A  Athlon XP 2100+ up to XP 2600+
Mach Speed - N2PAP Lite - nVIDIA Socket A Motherboard with Athlon XP 2500+ Processor.

Vidcard is a PNY nVidia GeForce FX5200 Ultra AGP 128 MB DDR-650Mhz.

I have a 300 watt Midtower.

Will this get me flying in AH2?

  Or give recommendations.

Skuzzy?

That will run AH2. You should get like 30FPS.

Thats more power than I have and I get 50 to 75 fps at 1600 X 1200 all sliders maxed out, but 300 watts is not going to be enough, you need 400 or better.

the set up is enough for much more than 30fps - second - 300w should do for that vid card and cpu if it is true power. Do you know what kind of power supply you have?

If you can afford a video card a model up (5700 Ultra or ATI 9600XT) It would make a big difference.

I must admit I am finding my XP2000+ processor is holding me back in AHII, but no upgrade till PCIX and BTX come out.

Flyboy why?

Higher res = smaller planes, smaller dots, smaller icons.

I can run higher than 800 x 600, put prefer not to.  Sliders under the D in Detail or thereabouts..

I'm getting 25-40 in tower, 60+ once I'm out of tree range (2k up)
