If you take a Field gun (1 of the AA guns) and aim at the comcrete 'pad' that you can see in front of you (I.e. aim all the way down) and fire you can blow the gun up Secondly If you take a one of the heavy double or tripple ship guns and aim down it allows you to shoot through the ship thus blowing the ship up. A final point if you take and AA gun on the flag ship of a convoy and aim to the left or right you can see other guns (which you seem unable to control) if you shoot at them they don't seem to be classed as 'part of the ship' so the auto stop shooting when aiming at part of the vehicle your in thing doesn't work allowing you to destroy the guns either side or you (this seems a bit stupid)
