 With the number of troops required on the ground, the military is going to have to put the stop loss in affect. They have tapped into the IRR. They are planning to use training units to rotate soldiers out. They have extended tours in the combat zone. Some units will probably do multiple tours. All this and they are still short personnel. The problem I see is that the armed forces will suffer as they are begining too. Add the stop loss and that will deter anyone from joining. When the stop loss is lifted there will be a mass exodus. I fear for the future of our military. I believe well will be in Iraq for a few years, but what happens after? What would be a good solution? Without a larger coalition force, I believe there isnt one...
