Film viewer crashing
« on: June 26, 2004, 08:53:58 PM »
If you enter 'Start Select' and 'End Select' times, then do a 'Copy Selected' and try to rename the film without putting the .ahf file extension in the name manually, the film viewer will save the film without any extension at all. And crash sometimes in the process.

Renaming the film you just tried to save with an .ahf extension and then trying to play it will also crash the viewer.

I'm too lazy to type .ahf every time I want to shorten a film :p

Well you said it doesn't work even if you don't type .ahf anyway. So you don't have the option of being lazy. :D

Yeah, maybe I didn't explain this very well.

When you first save the film, as long as you manually put the .ahf extension in the name while the 'Save As' box is up, you're OK.

Not doing this results in the saved file having no file extension at all.

And if you happen to forget to put the .ahf extension in the name and save it, then recover from the likely crash, and then try to simply rename the file by right-clicking on it and putting the .ahf in there, you'll crash again when you try to play it.

But I'm still too damn lazy to do this every time :p
