With the exception of the connect problem with SBC that was fixed with a patch awhile back I'm not having problem one with the game or with all the beta releases.
NO PROBLEMS.
None, nada, smooth as silk. Updates have the normal mini freezes until textures are loaded, that's normal.
Flew tonight for over an hour. Vidio memory available 130 - used 130.
Not a hitch, not a mini freeze, good frame rates, it was flawless
Haven't downloaded the latest nvidia drivers because why mess with a good thing ??
Defrag once a week and after any program download, anti-virus run once a week, adware, spybot every other day or so. I dump ANYTHING not used before my weekly defrag. Update XP every other week.
Run enditall before going ingame and have programs running on XP down to 17, 4 of them are my DSL stuff.
I've got juice yes, but before I built the new box I was running flawlessly with a 1.2 TBird with a nvidia geforce pro with 512 ram on dialup.
With the exception of the SBC thing, this game has run without a hitch.
What am I doing correctly with 2 different systems ??
There's something here, I don't know what it is. But there IS something here.
BTW I don't step on the cracks on a sidewalk either.
