Can we have a new Stuka?

Doesn't have to be soon... but it would be rather worthwhile to say... fly this one in AH.

a lovely armament, would make me forget I'm flying one of the slowest planes in the game. :)

Quite a few Ju87G models saw extensive action on the Eastern Front as tank busters.  That was the primary tank busting plane the Germans used on the Eastern Front when they converted the Ju-87D-3 into the Ju-87G-1 in spring of '43.

I still think the Ju-87D-5 would be a better choice with its dive bombing capabilities and wing mounted 20mm cannons.  IIRC, it was the last Ju87 variant to be equipped with dive flaps.  You'd still get the benefit of being a tank buster and still retain the ability to dive bomb.

I'd like to c the anti armor stuka too.

And can't we have a siren option for the one we have?  Stuka without the siren just ain't the stuka.

make it a hanger option.

pretty pls.

Actually the G could carry either the 37mm underwing gunpods, or bombs.

It just didn't have any divebrakes.

I'd use the guns anyway :D.

For the same reason we will likely never have the Ju87G in AH2, because with nearly 150mm penetration with the best ammo it would make every conceivable perk GV almost useless.

Actually it had 24 rounds Wotan, 2 6 round clips per gun.

I've read it in a few books.

SECOND THE EMOTION!

I can remember many a time in Air Warrior of myself and others flying Stookas just to make the siren scream :)

this was a last ditch effort to extened the life of the j87.. it was a total flop except for a couple of pilots.. it was so slow the tankers had time to dig a hole for the tank, cook the evening meal and have a shot of vodka before the ju87 made its turn, and usualy by the time it had it was shot down by a lady pilot..

but it would make and interesting addition..

I love divebombing in a Stuka here in AH2 against GVs. I recommend if you have IL-2, practice with those Stuka missions as they'll help you cope with the Stuka's problem but it's high points of pinpoint boming.

standard loadout was 6 rounds per gun due to the design of the pods but I'm sure some front line units modified them a little to carry more.

The siren was taken out with the introduction of the D-3 model.  The siren was deemed to no longer have the psychological effect that it once had and removed.

I'd rather have the P51 version that had dive brakes. P51 is an awesome tank buster.
