Hi Guys,

Some time ago I heard that the HT was planning on working some First Person Shooter elements into the game so we could play ground troops. Was this all a rumor?

BTW - When is that .45 we have when we bail gonna be usable? ;-) It'd be quite a larf to have bailed pilots chasing each other around blasting away or going after the Paratroops "the old fashioned way."

Used to have the side arm in WB. It only worked whilst your plane was still in the air. It had 6 or 7 rounds. Only ever been hit once and I only ever hit 1 plane in 2 yrs. Was kinda fun trying to hit somthing as u tumbled.

The one time I was hit was by a guy opening his chute at 18k to get a better aim...popping rounds off at me he was. He got 2 hits on me without any effect:rofl Once your burning plane hit the deck the gun didn't work.

Would be fun, But it would suck when planes just come by strafing everybody.
