Sat night online with squad mates, we all seemed to be getting more assists than kills.

I had two instances of having a first engagement of an enemy and then chasing them all over the sky. When I finally damaged them enough to win the engagement, the system gave me an assist.

I'm wondering if the auto ack gunners are now getting all the kills?

Probably just a bad night. Was it a furball? That would explain it.

go offline in AH1 and shoot the drones. Do the same offline
in AH2. I think you will clearly see the changes in the hit
model and why you're only getting assists. Your shells no
longer need to be close - they must actually hit.

Y, I noticed that the hit bounding box for ah2 is a lot less than ah2.

But, when I'm the apparent first contact of an enemy coming from their base, and chase them for miles before downing them, I begin to wonder if it's another bug. Especially, when other guys are having the same problem.

But, who knows, maybe some friendly gv pinged them when they took off.
