Canadians go to the polls...

Np AWMac.

SLO, I realise that separating isnt as big of an agenda as it once once. It still seems however that the agenda is very slanted towards the best interests of Quebec rather than of Canada. I realise why they are there, no make sure that Quebecers have a voice, but what would happen if they won? I suppose this would be impossible with no representatives outside of Quebec. A provincial party I can see, but as a federal party, the concept seems odd. Perhaps I am out of touch with their current aims, they dont get much coverage out here unless they are trying to separate :) Well, I'm off to the polls!

You would, as in accept the (generous) US offer or do something unspeakable to me out of offense?

If the former, then when do you suggest we invade? What would you like Quebec independance day to be?

newguy...thats all you hear cause thats all the damn news there is....

but most of the french folks I know want absolutely nothing to do with seperation....

like I said ....we had our chance...its over now

but for now they'll vote mostly Bloc Quebecois because they have NO OTHER CHOICE....

Martin is already rich and gettin richer...we perceive him as more of a bad politician with his own agenda....not Canada's or Quebecs.

others candidates we know nothing about....but we do know the Bloc....

its just so damn wierd....

anyways looks like the Lib's are gonna win....

Yea, out in the west we dont get much balanced news of the Bloc. Up to you guys to really deliver a hard blow to Martin. It does look good for him now though, it appears that the Liberals have stolen a few Conservative seats in Atlantic Canada.

I am in Alberta and I must tell you I am greatly dissappointed with the results of the election.  It looks like the Liberals will be able to steal and lie for another 4 years.  And just so you know Quebec is free, in fact the voted not that long ago to remain within Canada, it's a nice part of our country, you should visit there some time.

Yea I'm not too happy either. The result was in before they tallied our votes. It looks like I was right with the Liberal minority, now the politics will begin. I heard that the Liberal camp is already phoning over to Jack Layton to congratulate him on his parties performance. Lets see how close the Conservatives can make it.

Of all the liberty ports I visited while I was active duty in the US Navy none treated us better than Quebec City.  The people of that city took us all in like long lost relatives, it was truly amazing.

to Quebec City.
