I managed to somehow loose the CD that came with it. If I plug in the JS to my new puter, and DL the drivers from the website, it should work properly right?

if it is like the X45 saitek, you have to install the software first then connect the hotas

The joystick itself has native support in XP (including hat and all buttons). If you want the Thrustmapper software you can D/L it but you don't need it...
