Mt guess is something is running in background on your computer.  Virus, worm, spyware are all candidates.

I would gamble to say that is defintely spyware, or  a pop up getting blocked, just cuz you got popup blockers running doesn't mean that the spyware isn't at least starting up, then getting blocked. if you are running virus proggy in background, shut it down and drop ah to desktop, open up your processes running window and watch for a good ten minutes to see if a process initiates on the list, then if you do, you definitely have a bot running

dont run pop-up blockers, dont have any installed at all. never run anything in the taskbar except my clock, volume control, and saitek JS profiler.

have 18-19 running processes at normal times.

did a full ad-aware AND spybot scan, and they found nothing (i updated them both before running too).

didnt think to watch for processes to start up on their own.

this has shown to manifest itself when there are quickly more planes in the area (like going to a tower at a capped field from a base way behind the lines).

it has got to be memory related, but i dont have the time or money right now to fix it.

ty for the responses though
